A personal project inspired by the study from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the wii.
The room was one of the first things I saw in the game and I got attached to it instantly!
I decided to make it as a short and fun project where I could get me some more experience working with stylized graphics. As It it something I have done very little of before.
I tried to stick to the concept from the game as much as possible, but gave me some free creativity with adding some extra variation in the environment as the game was released in 2011 on the wii after all.
I used Maya for modelling, Zbrush for sculpting and baked with xNormal. I created materials using Photoshop and Substance Designer and then textured the objects inside of Quixel's dDo. The Scene is rendered in Unreal Engine 4.
